Condition
Imposing and highly decorative and functional piece, in very good condition. Old repairs to age splits on the sides and minor losses, scratches and age splits consistent with age and use. Decoration refreshed, with very minor rubbing to the painted and gilded surfaces in places. Some stains and losses to silvering in the engraved mirror plates, and very minor old worm damage the stand. The giltwood cornice with a small (approx.1.5 in) loss to one front corner, not very visible and does not detract from the overall impression. Ready to place.
