Condition
In overall good condition and presentation, both with later elements and signs of restoration. Drilled and wired for electricity, but will need rewiring by a qualified electrician or restorer prior to electrical use. The gilt bronze elements are overall bright and crisp, but have few areas of light discoloration and oxidation consistent with age and atmospheric conditions. Two elements from the central stem of one candelabrum are recast replacements, but in the same pattern and style as the original elements. There are some newer screws attaching the shaft of the torchere to the figure. The patina to the figures has been touched up in several places and there are some minor areas of flaking to the patina, particularly around the upper hand of each. There are visible pins and joints to the upper arm of one figure. A few of the other foliage elements may be recast. The marble bases are later and in good condition, but with very few minor nicks to the edges. The black and gilt painted lower pedestals are in good condition.
