Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals some networks of drying cracks in isolated places throughout the composition with some small and unobtrusive losses, one to the lower right corner of the first panel and two to the upper left corner of the second panel Further very close inspection reveals some light dust that has settled in the thicker impastoed areas, some of which have pressed peaks, as well as a media accretion to the centre left of the second panel. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
