Condition
The illustration of the catalogue is accurate.
Good overall condition.
The bergère was probably previously lacquered.
The construction is firm.
There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use.
There is a restoration with a piece of wood (approx. 3 x 2 cm.) to the upper and right part of the backrest.
Each scroll at the end of the four feet has been restored with a new piece of wood.
There are old woodworms traces filled with 'gomme laque' paste.
The fabric is in good overall condition with minor stains to the front part of the cushion and to the upper part of the backrest.
Nice carving and design. Ready to place and use.
