Catalogue Note
A scarce work by W.S. Landor's younger brother Robert (1781-1869), a curate and vicar who travelled with his brother to France and Italy in 1815 and 1816. He edited the second edition of Gebir (1803) but they later fell out and did not speak for many years. The presentation inscription to their grand-nephew Rashleigh Duke may be from their sister Elizabeth.
