Condition
Overall very good condition. The silver with some minor irregularities in the casting, not visually detractive. The silver surfaces with extremely minor light surface scratches consistent with age and gentle handling. The inner ring of circular decoration in the center portion of the box lid on the side opposite the hinge with a minute yellow discoloration, visible only upon close inspection. The enamel in overall good condition. One of the small green enamel cabochons on the box lid has been recently re-enameled by a professional conservator. The enameled decoration around the bottom edge of the lower portion of the box with approximately eight minute-size losses to the enamel. A very charming piece with diminutive scale and jewel-like decoration.
