2 volumes, 8vo (7 3/8 x 4 3/8 in.; 187 x 111 mm). 24 engraved plates (some folding) including frontispiece in each volume and 4 maps (in the first volume); a few light marginal spots, otherwise very fresh and crisp. 19th-century antique panelled calf, floral stamps at four corners, gilt-stamped red morocco title label on spines, red sprinkled edges; joints, corners and edges rubbed.
