Accompanied by GRS report no. GRS2016-059246, stating that the sugarloaf sapphire weighing 25.05 carats and measuring 16.74 x 14.53 x 10.87mm, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Signed MdV for Michele della Valle, numbered 150755. Italian maker's mark. Italian assay mark for 18 carat gold, mounted in white gold. Inscribed CUB.SRI.NH.GRS and 25.06, referring to the origin of the sapphire, to its gemmological certificate and to its weight. Sapphire blue of medium saturation, with typical inclusions, a few surface reaching; for further details on the stone, please refer to the gemmological report. Rubies well matched in colour. Diamonds bright and lively. Few signs of wear to the metal. In like-new condition. Gross weight approximately 16 grams.
