Accompanied by a gemmological report by Dr. Rupert Wögerbauer dated 19 July 1984, stating that the sapphire weighs 1.57 carat and measures 6.52 x 7.67 x 3.40mm. Stamped 585 for 14 carat gold, mounted in white and yellow gold. Sapphire blue of strong saturation, with good transparency, minor inclusions visible under 10x magnification. Diamonds stated to weigh a total of approximately 2.30 carats, on average K-M colour, SI-I clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with age and use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 7 grams.
