Composed of a row of red agate beads and beads applied with multicoloured enamel accented with rose diamonds, interspersed with gold rondelles highlighted with circular- and single-cut diamonds, length approximately 505mm, signed MdV, maker's mark, Italian assay and maker's marks.

Signed MdV for Michele della Valle, maker's mark, additional Italian maker's mark. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Agate beads well matched in colour, purplish red, with colour banding, minor scratches. Green, turquoise, blue, cream and yellow enamel in overall good condition, with small scratches and signs of tarnish around the drill holes. Diamonds bright and lively. Clasp secure, screw-back safety. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 183 grams.
