The lid depicting a Japanese landscape in black and red enamel, highlighted with rose diamonds, the thumbpiece set with a pearl, measuring approximately 85 x 50 x 10mm, signed Lacloche Frères, numbered, maker's mark.

Condition

Signed Lacloche Frères Paris, numbered 4042. French maker's marks for Lacloche Frères. French assay and British import marks for 18 carat gold. Red and black enamel in good condition, with small scratches, one small area of scaling to the reverse. Cultured pearl of cream body colour, with good skin and luster. Diamonds bright and lively. Small scratches and signs of wear to the metal consistent with use. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 95 grams. Measurements approximately 85 x 50 x 10mm.
