Brooch numbered 1080AL, stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Rubies well matched in colour, pinkish red, with typical inclusions, some surface-reaching, abrasions, chips and nicks. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.25 - 1.75 carats. Ring stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, inscribed GM. Ruby measuring approximately 8.20 x 6.55 x 3.90mm, estimated to weigh 1.7 carats, purplish red, with typical inclusions, some surface-reaching, scratches, abrasions, nicks and chips. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.50 - 3.00 carats, on average J-K colour, SI-I clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of wear to the metal. Clasp secure on the brooch, sliding safety catch. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 22 grams.
