The articulated strap set with circular-cut ruby clusters, the dial set with cabochon rubies and a circular-cut diamond, length approximately 180mm, signed Van Cleef et Arpels, numbered, French assay marks. 

Signed Van Cleef et Arpels to safety catch. Stamped with French assay mark to side of watch case and each end of bracelet for 18 carat gold, makers mark to catch, inside of case numbered 587, bottom of dial numbered 587. Reverse of case numbered 63102 10587 and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Weight approximately 97 grams without movement. Rubies well matched medium red. Overall good condition. Movement running at the time of cataloguing. Case with scuffs and scratches, consistent with age. Bracelet in good condition and clasp fastening securely. The watch has not been tested for the accuracy of its timekeeping.
