Accompanied by Cisgem report no. 479, stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heat treatment. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold on interior of shank. Indistinct maker's mark on interior of shank. Sapphire measuring approximately 10.2 x 8.1 x 5.0mm, calculated to weigh approximately 3.30 carats, mid to light blue in colour, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, slight wear to facet edges and light scratches associated with wear. Diamonds estimated to be approximately G-H colour, VS2 - SI1 clarity on average, estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.00 - 2.50 carats. Light scratches to metal surface associated with wear. In good condition.
