- Spinel, diamonds, gold
Set with an oval pink spinel weighing 23.16 carats, within a surround of oval and marquise-shaped diamonds, size N, signed Brahmand.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 94931, stating that the spinel is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, minor amount of oil in fissures at the time of testing, measuring approximately 17.77 x 16.51 x 8.43mm, weighing approximately 23.167 carats. Together with the original drawings from Brahmand.
Ring shank stamped BRAHMAND, 18K, 750, B.Z and maker's mark. Spinel orange-pink, typical inclusions visible by the naked eye, some are surface reaching, stone surface with scratches, minor chips and a few rubbed facet edges. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.90-3.20 carats, estimated clarity VS/SI, colour difficult to gauge due to mount. Metal surfaces with minor surface scratches. Overall condition good.
