Designed as a bust of a lady carved in black amber, her clothing, headdress and articulated veil set with brilliant-cut diamonds, her eyes and earring accented with circular-cut emeralds, signed Nardi, two diamonds deficient.
Condition
Signed NARDI and stamped 750 to base of brooch to reverse. Four diamonds deficient, estimated total diamond weight approximately 3.00-3.50 carats. Emeralds mid green, inclusions visible under magnification. Veil missing two links. Stones surfaces with scratches and wear. Amber in good condition. Clip with tight tension. Metal surfaces with light discolouration. Overall condition good.
