Designed as a lion with outstretched paws, its ears, muzzle and fangs pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, its eyes set with cabochon emeralds, signed Kutchinsky, British hallmarks.
Condition
Signed Kutchinsky, British hallmarks and date letter for 1969 to reverse of brooch. Diamonds bright and lively. Emeralds mid green, typical inclusions visible, scratches visible and small chips. Some chips and scratches to enamel, a few areas of loss to enamel and metals visible. Mount with some discolouration, particularly around mount. Light surface scratches to metal. Total weight approximately 45.5 grams. Overall condition good.
