Description

The front set with multi-coloured oval sapphires, to a sapphire bead necklace, length approximately 400mm.

Condition

Accompanied by GCS, report no. 77113-98, stating that the sapphires are natural fancy colours, with indications of heating. One sapphire shows no indications of heating, origin opinion Madagascar. The largest measuring approximately 10.5 x 8.7 x 5.0mm. The smallest measuring approximately 6.8 x 5.5 x 3.6mm. Coloured sapphires of pale to medium colour saturation, some typical inclusions visible, light surface wear to stone surfaces, light scratches, some rubbed facet edges and minor chips. Light surface wear to metal. Few stones loose in their mounts. Overall condition good.
