Description

Of stylised trefoil design, pavé-set with circular-cut diamonds, French assay and maker's marks.

Sotheby’s Geneva, 15th and 16th November 1984, Lot 98.
Condition
Each clip stamped with French assay marks and 750 indicating 18 carat gold, maker's mark for Goené et Darde (year date 1928-1955) and SC on brooch fittings. Each with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum on side of brooch. Diamonds are bright and lively, estimated clarity VS-SI, some diamonds with chips and surface wear, colour estimated H-J as graded within the limitation of the mount. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 6.50-7.00 carats. Mount with normal signs of wear, surface scratches and small dents, some pits. Brooch fittings with good tension, closes securely. Gross weight approximately 45.5 grams in total. Dimensions approximately 41 x 35 x 12mm each. Overall condition good.
