Description
- sapphire, diamond, platinum
Designed as a pierced ribbon bow suspending two concentric floral wreaths, millegrain-set with circular-cut and cushion-shaped diamonds and two cabochon sapphires.
Condition
Sapphires measuring approximately 10.9 x 9.5 x 6.2mm and 12.1 x 8.4 x 7.0mm, calculated to weigh approximately 6.93 and 7.68 carats respectively. Violet blue, transparent, typical inclusions visible by the naked eye, some are surface reaching, colour zoning, a few small chips and light surface scratches. Largest diamond estimated to weigh approximately 0.20 carats, estimated I clarity. Remaining diamonds bright and lively. Some dark solder visible around central suspension connection. Metal with some areas of yellow solder. Surface scratches consistent with age and wear. Detachable pendant might benefit from the attention from a jeweller. Overall condition commensurate with age and wear.
