Claw-set with an oval colour change sapphire weighing 4.02 carats, surrounded by brilliant-cut and pear-shaped diamonds, to brilliant-cut diamond shoulders, size O, British hallmarks and maker's mark.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 94934 , dated 28th August 2017, stating that the carat colour change sapphire is of Ceylon (Sri Lankan) origin, with no indications of heating, measuring 8.97 x 6.90 x 7.00 mm, weighing 4.023 carats.
Stamped with British hallmarks, maker's mark and 18K 750 inside ring shank for 18 carat gold, signed Brahmand. Sapphire with typical inclusions visible under magnification, surface wear visible such as scratching and chips. Moderate purple colour-change under incandescent light. Diamonds are bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.20-1.50 carats, estimated clarity SI. Mount with some surface scratches and dents. Overall condition good.
