Description

Designed as a flower posy tied by a ribbon, set with brilliant-cut diamonds and circular- and calibré-cut rubies.
Condition
Rubies purplish red, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, some surface-reaching, some areas of wear and minor chipping to facet edges. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 3.50 - 4.50 carats. Three circular-cut rubies to left of central flower are synthetic Overall dimensions approximately 89 x 50mm. Brooch fitting secure, with extra safety chain fitting. Scratches and areas of discolouration to metal surfaces consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
