- Cultured Pearl, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Diamond, and Enamel
Comprising three necklaces, each composed of cultured pearls set with emerald, spinel, ruby, and sapphire beads, accented with rondelles applied with black enamel and round diamonds, lengths 35¾, 33¼ and 32 inches.
Condition
In overall good condition, the clasps are very slightly loose and may benefit from being adjusted. The cultured pearls measure from approximately 13.9 to 9.3 mm, of creamy white body color, some with soft to moderate rose and green overtones, with fair skin and good luster, with minor pitting to some pearls. The spinel, ruby, sapphire and emerald beads are tumble polished, two sapphire beads are faceted. The spinels are medium purple-red, the rubies are medium purple-red, the sapphires are medium-light violetish blue, the emeralds are medium bluish green; the beads are moderately to heavily included, some with surface-reaching inclusions, one sapphire bead displaying a large chip. The diamonds, weighing a total of approximately 9.00 carats, are approximately F-G color, VS-SI clarity. The black enamel is in overall good condition, a few rondelles with small areas of loss, only visible under close inspection.
