Comprising a pair of earclips of scroll design set with pear-shaped opals, accented by round diamonds; a brooch designed as a bird, the body set with an opal, accented by round diamonds and baroque freshwater pearls; and a ring set with a polished opal, framed by round diamonds, size 7; all signed Ruser.

Condition

In good condition, with minor wear to the mounting, commensurate with age. The brooch and ring stamped 10% IRID PLAT for iridium-platinum alloy. The beak and talons of the bird brooch is 18 karat gold. The signature on the earclips partially obscured. The semi-translucent opals on the earclips with strong blue and green play-of-color. The translucent opals on the brooch and ring with strong blue and green play-of color, with moderate flashes of orange and yellow. The opal ring with light crazing on both sides of the stone. The diamonds weighing a total of approximately 5.30 carats are approximately G-I color, VS-SI clarity. The baroque freshwater pearls on the brooch of cream body color with soft rose and green overtones, with fair luster and wrinkled skins mostly to the reverse of the brooch. Earclips measuring approximately ⅞ inch. Dimensions of the brooch measuring approximately 2¼ x 1½ inches. The ring fitted with internal sizing spheres.
