In overall good condition, given the age of the rings. Both rings signed Marcus & Co. The sapphire ring mounted in metal that tests as 14 karat gold. The opal ring inscribed 14K. The sapphires weighing a total of approximately 2.20 carats, are a medium deep richly saturated blue color, slightly included, with minor abrasions to facet junctions visible under 10x magnification. The diamonds, weighing a total of approximately 1.20 carat, are approximately G-H color, predominantly VS clarity, some SI clarity. The black opal weighing approximately 4.50 carats, displays flashes of orange and green, with typical matrix, crazing and a small surface-reaching cavity. The mounting is decorated with filigree style gold beading and wire work. Sapphire ring gross weight approximately 8 dwts; opal ring approximately 3 dwts.
