Good levels, soiled and scuffed labels, 1 torn label, excellent color and clarity
Vintage from 29 September to 8 October, with a very long, late ripening season. 13% alcohol. Some Cabernet Franc suffered hail damage and was selected out of the blend. Press wine in new barrels added to the (successful) tannic structure. Immensely scented, like meaty bouillon. Blackcurrant intensity in the centre. Massive after-taste.
