Catalogue Note
‘Howard was a long-time and dear friend and it was impossible not to love his work. His influence pervaded our lives in weird and subtle ways. We liked painting rooms vibrant colours, particularly when we lived in England, and our default colour was always what we called "Hodgkin Green". Which worked 9 times out of 10.’
