This impressive bracket is in reasonable condition. It shows construction cracks as visible in the catalogue photo. There is a break needing attention to bottom tip as well as small repairs to carvings. There are minor losses to back edge of top, which are not visible when the piece is hung. The top is very distressed having lost ts gilding. it also has a small repair. This charming piece retains its original gilding, with elegant distress in parts. There is a fragment of worked Chinese silk over modern card which comes with the bracket which is very distressed. One curl of the bottom scroll detached but present, and easily repaired.
