- Made in the 19th century but including some earlier elements.

Condition
Atmospheric. Top with ring marks and later cleated ends. Typical age cracks to relief panels. Old, marks and scratches consistent with age. Some losses to moulding around the base. This piece exhibits signs of its age throughout and exhibits the kind of wear that one would expect. The lock is very, very stiff and the lid initially appears locked but it is merely very stiff. Lacking interior till. Traces of old worm, again as to be expected.
