the cylindrical body elegantly painted with boys at play, one with hands clasped over the eyes of a playmate, observed by an older boy wearing an official's robe and clasping a ruyi scepter, a small boy crouching over in laughter, as another, bearing a lotus blossom on a stick, happily tickles the central figure with a twig, all set between a band of lappets encircling the base and an elaborate cloud collar enclosing crane medallions, florets and leafing fruit on a pale-green stippled ground, the shoulder with stylized chrysanthemum reserved on a diaper ground, the slender neck with a raised chevron filet, repeated at the rim

Condition

The vase is in overall good condition with slight fritting to the mouth rim and expected wear to the enamels.The are burst glaze bubble flaws along the shoulder and a star crack to the base.
