The medium is a speckled beige stone and presents with natural veining, as seen on the right of the catalogue illustration. The bottom edge with a few isolated chips, not visually distracting, the largest one measuring 1 1/2 x 5/8 inches. The incised areas with a minor soiling consistent with age and handling. There are a few small areas where the residue from old adhesive is visible, mostly towards the bottom of the figure. The sculpture has retained its original green marble base, which measures 4 7/8 inches high. The base with chips along the edges and a restoration to one of the upper corners.
