Overall in good condition. When viewed first hand, the lacquer of the top presents with a richly nuanced surface with "cloud" effects and with gilt decoration around the edge. The Macassar ebony legs are slightly lighter when viewed first-hand than in the catalogue illustration. The top with a few scattered surface scratches, light surface dirt and some minor edge abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. The Macassar ebony on the legs with some traces of drying to the veneer, consistent with the natural aging of the wood, some surface scratches and minor edge abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. Two of the legs with some minor restorations to the edges with minor losses to the veneer, only visible upon close inspection. The gilt bronze with minor surface scratches, minor wear to the patina and minor surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use. The table can be extended with a central leaf, which is not included in the offering. A beautiful table, featuring a superb lacquer work by Sain & Tambute.
