The wood has been sensitively revarnished and the surfaces present with a few minor surface scratches, minor edge abrasions, light surface soiling and a few minor crazing to the wood consistent with age and gentle use. As seen in the catalogue illustration, the center of the sideboard is very slightly lighter in hue than the rest of the sideboard, which does not distract from the overall appearance of the sideboard. The veneer of the drawers with minor wear from age, notably to the upper drawer. The veneer with a few minor vertical hairline cracks, stable and only visible upon close inspection. The proper left lower front edge of the sideboard with a minor loss to the veneer, measuring approximately 1 x 1/8 inch and not visually distracting. The bronze handles with a few minor surface scratches, minor edge abrasions and minor discoloration consistent with age and gentle handling. The interior of each side compartment opens on an adjustable wood shelf. The interior of the drawers is lined with black fabric.
