Condition
Overall in very good original condition. When viewed in person, the red edges present with a darker ruby hue than in the catalogue illustration. The glass with a few minute air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not at all visually disruptive. The glass surfaces with a few occasional light surface scratches consistent with age and gentle handling. Some corners with a few minor chips only visible upon close inspection. The interior edges of the wooden frame is painted silver, which imbues the mirror with a lightness and compositional and coloristic harmony. The wooden surfaces with some surface scratches, minor abrasions and a few minor occasional discolorations and evidence of tape residue consistent with age and gentle handling. A rare and spectacular mirror when viewed in person.
