Please note that the color reproduction in the catalogue photograph is inaccurate. In reality the green has more yellow and less blue to it. In addition the extensive gold powders within the work are largely not visible. Overall in our opinion the work is more attractive in reality than how it appears in the photograph. The two long sides of the bowl have minor idents to the edges from in the making where the work was held by tongs while still hot.
