Condition

Overall in good condition. When viewed in person the panel presents a harmonious palette of rich greens and yellows accented by vibrant teals, lavenders, and warm reds and oranges executed in a variety of mottled, rippled, and chipped glass. The panel with approximately 40 cracks to the favrile glass tiles, including approximately five small spider cracks, all seemingly stable. The panel with some surface soiling to the glass and adjacent borders of the leading throughout, consistent with age. The panel with buckling throughout concentrated to the middle third of the composition likely due to the panel being moved over the years and to the panel's weight. The reinforcement bars are later additions with associated resoldering. The panel with two possible glass tile replacements to the border. The panel is presently inset into a pine frame that was used as a sliding door (89 1/4 x 45 in. including frame). The pine frame is in overall good condition with expected light surface scratches, abrasions, dents and scattered old worm holes. A beautiful Gothic composition incorporating classical floral and geometric motifs. Measurements 89 1/4 x 45 in. (226.7 x 114.3 cm) including frame
