Condition
Overall color and condition good, with the exception of an approximately 4in long age separation crack through the grain toward the back of the table top where the wood is at one of it's thinnest points. This rear 1/5th of the tables top slopes down very slightly at an angle. Despite this issue this area of the top remains stable. There is one small area (approximately 1 in x 1/4 in) along the center/edge of the top where there is small area of wood that has previously become detached and been re-glued to the body. Overall the wood top is slightly dry and there are occasional very minor surface marks. The top would benefit from application with an appropriate oil. Overall the table retains a firm structure, and in our opinion presents well. Overall this represents a rare opportunity to acquire a well documented Aubock table in a scarce monumental scale.
