Please note that the color reproduction in the catalogue is inaccurate. In reality the cabinet has a dark, rich color and grain, whereas in the catalogue it appears washed out and faded. The reverse painted glass top appears to be a professional replacement, however in keeping with the original. There are old/minor vertical age separation cracks to grain of the rosewood veneer surfaces that have been lightly cleaned and applied with a clear varnish in order to stabilize them. The veneers all remain in very good condition with no evidence of losses. The door hinges appear to be later replacements. The doors are all fully functioning and close flush and the interior is fitted with shelves. Overall in our opinion the cabinet presents well, and retains a firm structure.
