Condition

Overall in very good original condition. When viewed in person, the log holder appears to have retained its original patina. The surfaces with a few surface scratches, minor abrasions, a few areas of rubbing and minor oxidation and light surface soiling consistent with age and gentle handling. The interior with a few small areas of accretions, not visually distracting and consistent with use. A rare and sculptural work by Dirk van Erp with fine detailing.
