Description
- Frank Lloyd Wright
- Window from the Second Francis W. Little House, Wayzata, Minnesota
- clear and opaque glass in copper-plated zinc cames
Provenance
Second Francis W. Little House, Wayzata, Minnesota
Literature
Julie L. Sloan, Light Screens: The Complete Leaded-Glass Windows of Frank Lloyd Wright, New York, 2001, pp. 220-224 (for the commission)
Condition
Overall in our opinion the window presents well. The glass panels remain intact with no cracks or damage. There are possible areas where the leading has previously been reworked to help better secure the glass in place. The glass panels all remain secure. Overall in our opinion this represents a rare opportunity to acquire a striking architectural detail from one of Frank Lloyd Wright's early iconic homes.
