Condition
Overall in very good condition. This is a delicate small scale work that displays luminous and vivid colors in the inticate enamelwork of the face. The pewter presents with minor surface scratches, a few scattered areas of discoloration and light surface dirt concentrated to the recessed areas of the design. The proper left lower corner of the front adjacent to the enamel inset with two minor discolorations visible in the catalogue illustration. The enamelwork has been examined under black light and appears original and undisturbed. The glass face of the clock cover is likely not original. The movement appears to be original and the key is integrated into the clock at the reverse. Movement is not guaranteed to run at the time of cataloging and was not tested for accuracy of time and may need service at the buyers discretion. Underbase with retailer's paper label. A strong example of the model with wonderful presence and contrast in coloration across the enamelwork.
