Condition
Overall in very good condition. The glazed earthenware with a few minor surface scratches and surface soiling consistent with age and gentle handling. Minor surface soiling to the recessed areas. The upper rim with a few minor and sensitively undertaken to the glaze, just behind the figure. The bronze surfaces with a few minor surface scratches and minute abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. The patina of the upper part of the body and face appears to have been enhanced at some point in the history of the piece. A spectacular and rare work by the artist, with strong visual presence when viewed in person.
