Condition

Overall very good condition. The chair legs and stretchers are made from re-purposed hammer handles. The wood surface with light surface scratches, minor abrasions and dents consistent with age and gentle use. The leather seat is original and has acquired a rich patina with age. The leather with scattered discolorations and abrasions, and with some crazing associated with the stretching of the material. A very nice example of Esherick's hammer handle designs.
