Overall good condition. The wood surfaces with light surface scratches, minor abrasions and minor dents throughout consistent with age and gentle handling. The shade with a restoration to the wood of one of the lower corners measuring approximately 3 1/2 inches high, visible in the catalogue illustration. The burled wood base with some cracks in the grain, consistent with age, and with some expected minor chips to the points of the burls. The base with a horizontal crack measuring approximately 7 inches long, visible in the catalogue illustration. The base with a small restoration to one of the upper corners. The paper shade presents with some minor discolorations adjacent to the wood stretchers resulting from the adhesive. A rare and highly dynamic and functional form.
