Condition
Overall in condition consistent with age and use. Please note that the correct height of the daybed is 12 3/4 inches; with the cushions the overall height is 18 3/4 inches. The metal surfaces with some surface scratches, abrasions and surface soiling consistent with age and use. Please note that the cushions are in three part and not in one part as seen in the catalogue illustration, where it was covered with fabric. The cushions have been replaced at some point in the history of the piece and the white leather presents with surface soiling consistent with age and use. The painted wood board of the sofa appears to be original, with a few later added screws attaching the board to the sofa, some of them broken. The sofa is on four casters which appear to be original. One of the casters has been reworked at some point and is missing a screw, should be reattached to the base. One of the crossbars under the sofa with possible resoldering to one of the joints. An iconic piece by Maria Pergay with great presence when viewed in person. The surfaces could be professionally cleaned and polished at the buyer's discretion.
