Condition
Overall very good condition. When viewed in person, the green is more intense than seen in the catalogue illustration. The pile is generally dense, slightly worn, approximately 1/8 inch. Some minor abrasions and breaks at the ends. Burlap backing folded under it and glued at one end. The surface with some minor spots and surface soiling throughout consistent with age and gentle use. "La promenade des amis" is an iconic motif for Giacometti.
