Condition

Overall in very good original condition. The silver presents with a few light surface scratches, a few scattered and minute dents and a few minor areas of discoloration consistent with age and gentle use. The tarnishing visible in the catalogue illustration could be polished. The vase retains its original glass liner, as visible on the catalogue illustration. The glass surfaces present with a few surface scratches and surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use. One of the upper corners of the liner with a small chip, not visually distracting. The bottom of the liner with a minor to minute chip, visible from the interior of the vase. An iconic design by Josef Hoffmann from the collection of Jacqueline Fowler.
