- jadeite, diamond, yellow gold
- Carved pendant approximately 30.48 x 18.47 x 10.86mm and carved phoenix plaque approximately 38.09 x 29.46 x 4.19mm.
The first pendant, set with a jadeite of very good translucency and deep green colour, carved as a fruit bearing vine symbolising prosperity, to a dragon surmount, mounted in yellow gold; and the second pendant, set with a jadeite plaque of good translucency, suffused with bright green streaks to a lighter background, carved as a phoenix amidst foliate and lingzhi, symbolising good fortune as one wishes, to the surround and surmount embellished with circular-cut and tapered baguette diamonds weighing approximately 2.80 carats in total, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold.
Condition
Accompanied by two Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory certificate numbered SJ 154638 and SJ 154639, both dated 1 August 2017, stating that the jadeite are natural, known in the trade as "A Jade"; also accompanied by two GIA reports numbered 2155360168 and 2155360164, dated 16 April 2013 and 11 April 2013 respectively, stating that both carvings are jadeite jade, natural colour, with no indications of impregnation. The first pendant:
Metal tested as yellow gold. Jadeite is well carved, of very good translucency and deep green colour, with a few surface reaching internal fissures. Signs of very little wear to the metal, overall in very good condition.
The second pendant:
Stamped 750 and K18 for 18 karat yellow gold. Jadeite is well carved, of good translucency and light green colour, suffused with bright green steaks and specks. Upon strong illumination, there is a surface reaching internal fissure but not visible under normal lighting. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 2.80 carats in total, are on average F to G colour, VS clarity. Signs of normal wear to the metal, cover at the back with minor tarnish at the hinge, overall in very good condition.
