The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. The case-back has some clear scratches from what seems to be attempts of opening the back and the hallmark is a little bit faded from consistent wearing but it is still visible, the front of the case is in a very good condition it has some minor scratches which is consistent with use. The dial and hands are in an excellent condition. The watch is overall in a good condition and a fine example of a watch with an interesting case and bezel. ***Please be advised that the bands on this watch are made of materials derived from endangered or otherwise protected species (i.e. alligator and crocodile) and thus not sold with the watch, they are for display purposes only.
