• gilt full plate movement, pierced and engraved balance bridge • cuvette with central medallion chased with a classical figure playing a harp, the cuvette signed Jaquet Droz • white enamel chapter ring, Breguet numerals, multi-coloured gold automaton scene with two putti striking bells above a scene in which an apprentice turns a wheel while a knife grinder sharpens his knife against it, flowers highlighted with polychrome enamel • gold case, engine-turned back • cuvette signed, case stamped AP & F

Condition

The movement is running and repeating at the time of cataloguing. Automaton figure functioning correctly. Some slight tarnishing to the blued background of the automaton. Light scuffs to the case and wear to the engine-turning particularly to the edge. Overall in good condition. The watch has not been tested to determine the accuracy of its timekeeping.
